Looked over the rules, and found a few issues that I'll outline below. Feedback is appreciated. 2.4. Do not contacting developers directly Correction: Should read "Do not contact developers directly." 2.6. AFKing Leaving your computer or in any manner tabbing out or going AFK should not be done in a public area, please be inside your private home or the welcome center. Potential Punishment: 7 day suspension - Really 7 days for afking in public? Suggestion: Require people to use an AFK tag, can be the same as a character tag. Three warnings for non-use and a 1 day ban otherwise. (Though I am personally against AFK bans in any regard.) 2.15. External Websites Comment: I can see the concern and fear of external websites, but many RP business and companies use them or already have them set up. Banning use of external websites for RP purposes is unnecessary. Suggestion: A simple warning that "PZG" is not responsible for content or the safety of external websites would suffice. Metagaming in any form is against the rules, no matter where the information is gathered. 3.4.1.1. Special Characters " Special Characters are characters which have a particular subset of skills (superior strength, shooting, stamina, etc), such as but not limited to: Mentally Challenged Skilled Martial Artists Members of Special Operations Forces These characters must have Upper Administration Team approval prior to roleplaying as such." Comment: HA! Everyone and their brother is a god damn soldier, ex-soldier, special-ops, robo cop or SEAL. They can all shoot perfectly and have more combat training than anyone else. This is going to be entertaining to see enforced. Start with everyone in the SD, FD, and any Mafia. 3.6.1. Player Kills Comment: Eh? There is currently no life hud of any sort in use sim-wide. Is this something that will be implemented? Any sort of IC death should first have to be approved by the character who is to die. A "Player Kill" resulting in incapacitation, but not actual death shouldn't be referred to as a "kill". In my opinion this hurts continuity and canon. This is where SL RP of this type differs from GTA or another MMO. I'd eliminate player kills completely. 3.6.2. Character Kills Comment: "Script wise" eh? "Applications?" This and the above was just copied from Owl Gaming's website wasn't it? Same with the above. Applications shouldn't be needed for a character kill. If anything a notification to be sent to Admin notifying them of the character's death, again the decision should be up to the character who is to die and no-one else. 3.6.2.1. through 3.6.2.2. Comment: All this is unnecessary text, being "almost killed" or "incapacitated" as a result of any of the actions listed here is valid. Incapacitation to the result of being out of the RP for the remainder of its duration, hospitalized, etc. are all valid outcomes. However, again, it should be up to the character's owner to decide if that character should be permanently "killed" (There should be no-other type of death) as a result of their actions. No group, administrator, or other RPer should decide that for them without their approval. 3.14. LEO Presence "Always act like there is a heavy LEO presence, even if there is lack thereof." Comment: There's no reason to act if there is a "HEAVY" presence, as this is unrealistic even in RL. It should be assumed there are at least a couple deputies (NPC or real) available at any given time. 8.4. Weapon Licenses Correction: Remove references to Los Santos. 8.5. NPCs & Shops Correction: Remove references to Los Santos/ GTA. 9. Faction Rules Comment: This reads like GTA, infact it's a direct copy of the Owl faction rules. I suggest revising to remove references to GTA and to better suit SL. See above comments on Player Kills. 10.4. Property Break-Ins, Robberies & Theft Comment: Also from GTA, character hours eh? Revise to better fit with SL's limitations. Rewriting is needed. 10.4.5. Character Robberies Comment: See comments on Player Kills above. 10.4.7. Vehicle Theft Comment: Most of this is unnecessary. Again this is for GTA not SL. Revise accordingly.

What is the suggestion: a chop shop would be nice. for those people who steal cars alot to earn extra cash. the money they get from it they need to launder. What are the advantages? (List each in new line) faster way for criminals to earn cash for the cars they steal to get around. What are the disadvantages? (List each in new line) if not careful you could lose the car you are stealing as well as pay a fine and jail time. Do you have any resources (images, links, references) to support our staff in making said suggestion? https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Simeon_Car_Export_Requests How would you go about implementing this idea? Have a list of vehicles for the system to pick from at set intervals (daily, every 2 days, etc.) and the chosen vehicle/s are mentioned in a notification on either the hud or on a new app on the F1 phone, similar to the dark chat thing. Once you get your hands one a vehicle from the list, you need to take the vehicle to the Hayes Autos garage (postal 9054) or another fitting location and receive a pre-determined paycheck based on the condition or value of the car. the cars on the list would sell for more than other cars. other cars not on the list would be able to be sold every in game day but have a limit on car model. for example. each model of car cannot be sold more than 5 times in an in game day. so if you sold 5 Warreners. you need to find something that isnt a warrener.

What is the suggestion: There was recently a change to the way the NPC tow truck job pays and it was a change for the better. I really enjoy this job so I am here yet again to try and improve it. In its current state the jobs you receive when you pick up a car vary in a weird pay scale I would like to see a couple changes made. 1. I have seen jobs that send you on a 5 mile round trip pay $140 to the company and $28 to the driver. Then you get a job that is a 1 mile round trip that will pay double. it would like to see it changed where the pay out is based on distance 2. With the changes to the way drivers are paid I completely understand that the pay per job had to be dropped as the job would have became a get rich quick job. however I do believe the pay was dropped a little to low and is now hurting the company itself. The pay scale on a 20 trip sample averages $185.7 per trip to the company and $47.65 to the driver per trip. Under the current pay plan it is very hard to keep money in the company account with out dropping salary pay so much that people just don't want to do the job. What are the advantages? (List each in new line) For the first suggestion the benefit is that drivers that get a longer travel distance on a job feel like the are getting rewarded for the extra distance. The second suggestion would help the company be profitable and keep drivers happy with out noticing a pay cut but the company could then afford to pay the wages they are entitled to without them having to live in the tow truck. Because while they can make money at it people are in the city for RP and if you can't take a break from you job to enjoy some good RP elsewhere in the city it can get boring What are the disadvantages? (List each in new line) This will be a trial and error process on getting the pay where it need to be to benefit both company and driver need and to make sure it is balanced with the city economy. Do you have any resources (images, links, references) to support our staff in making said suggestion? How would you go about implementing this idea? 1.Have the job pay based on distance traveled round trip 2.What I would like to do is drop the percentage of pay per tow down maybe between 15%-18% and increase the pay per tow scale to an amount where people can still average around the same per tow but the company can also profit and actually make money to hold in the account for paying employee salaries.

The tow truck NPC job should pay a percentage by the car to employees. This is the way it actually works in the states, it typically is about 22% of the tow bill. As the owner of LSC I can't get anyone to actually run the NPC jobs in their current state which mean no money coming in and that leads to no one getting paid at all. Also when you do have a mechanic on it does not display it properly on the F10 screen. I feel if this is fixed you may have more player to player interaction with the job. In the current state I believe that if someone breaks down the look at that screen and see no mechanic so the steal a car or buy a repair kit. If that was displayed properly then you would have people look at it see that you do have a mechanic on then maybe the would tweet out to get some assistance. This would give better RP for the job as it would increase player to player interaction. Also I would like to see when possible of course more cops utilizing the mechanic job for removal of vehicles from a scene (exp. impounds, illegally parked vehicles etc...) this would be something were I would suggest state reimburses the office for the tow or a way for the driver to invoice the state. this should definitely not be the officer responsibility as they are acting on the behalf of the state. This is just a few ideas I had for the job hopefully it was helpful thank you for taking the time to read through this.

i have seen alot of drama so i am going suggestion to add the sentence under - 2.15. Not Here To Roleplay or under new rule - No drama rule within general rules of woodland county or create single rule for all services (forums, gaming, Discord, GTA) Causing prolonged dramas (discord or forums or Inworld) punishment: permanent removal and NO appeal for this behavior reason behind this is there lately spates of behavior in world and forums - as i had experinced/seen in other rp sims where No drama rule has been enforced which says if you cause drama - you are out no buts or ifs - if they try to cause prolong drama on any form such forums or Discord - they will be banned from it no expections also NO appeal for those causing prolonged drama - to keep people from harm of drama also protects woodland county and services from any more issues its right for people to have peaceful and enjoyable i would consider this rule covers all of services to stop drama from happening - example: i dont not want see drama flare up in discord then flares in in world so no drama rule will deal with them very servere meaning person who causing issues will be removed from all services and banned permantly - eg no access to appeal

To ensure you receive the quickest resolution we stick to a support process and may guide you to this post in order to get the fastest resolution to your issue. Different staff members have different responsibilities and access levels, however have the appropriate methods in place to be able to escalate requests as needed. We are adding new forms and support processes to make things easier, more transparent and better for both staff and players to ensure we resolve issues promptly, we appreciate your patience while we do this. How to get help? If there is an admin-on-duty at the time, you may contact them online. However, they may point you here to provide information and to create the initial request as apart of our processes. Contact us via the Support page in the navigation pane. If you cannot find a form or you are not satisfied with the outcome of a request, you can contact the team or upper management via the support section. Examples In-Game Help (all servers) Each server of our community has it's own Player Support section were both players and admins can provide you support. This has a Questions and Troubleshooting section where you can post your question. There is also a Guides and Tutorials section created by other players and staff to aid you. Someone is currently breaking the rules The best way to have an issue resolved is to submit a Player Report. Priority Zero Gaming Staff Management Rules: Administration Team Introduction Priority Zero Gaming believes in transparency and a fair gaming experience within it's community. In order to create an abuse-free environment rules have been established for this team. These rules have been made publicly available to members of the community to have a better understanding on what can and cannot be done by this team. 1. Becoming a member of the Administration Team New Members: Members of the community are welcome to apply to the administration team after 1 month of being an active member in the community. You will possess a fair amount of activity and experience in any roleplay field. Your behaviour must be outstanding which will be proven via your player history. You must also show respect to Priority Zero Gaming's mission and values. Re-instatements: If the community member was an administrator in the past for any of Priority Zero Gaming's entities and left on good grounds, they can reinstate in a position one lower than their rank upon leaving. Exceptions can be made when sufficient reasoning is given before leaving. 2. Hierarchy & Chain of Command Priority Zero Gaming consists of several ranks, each with different duties and perks. We follow this hierarchy to ensure swift communication, delegation and accountability. The team can be split into two major groups which are the Administration Team, Management Team. The Administration Team is responsible for the day-to-day management of the server and players. While the Management Team is responsible for the management of the server including rules, staff reports and recruitment. The Community Management Team is responsible for the oversight of the community, forums, rules, staff and recruitment. 3. Handling Reports The Administration Team is responsible for the correct handling of requests made by community members. These requests range from potential abuse being reported, to general support being requested. All requests are equally important, only the complexity can vary. An Administrator may only accept a report that they can handle. Accepting and closing requests which you cannot handle is strictly forbidden. However, messaging a community member that their request cannot be taken for the moment due to lack of a specific kind of staff at the moment, is permitted. When a request has been taken accidentally, the administrator should send a message to the community member to let them know it was a mistake and unassign themselves from the request. Administrators should also refrain from handling reports in which they are involved in. This includes themselves, and their faction, if it involves the faction as a whole. Reports about a specific faction member may be handled, if the staff member can assure the community member they will remain neutral. Administrators involved in the situation must always post their version of the story or post their view on the situation. When these requests are not being handled fast enough, it is the task of the Management Team to assign administrators who are able to handle the report or handle it themselves. Administrators who fail to respond to a request assigned to them after 7 days may result in an infraction. If an administrator is unable to handle this report, they must notify the assignee so thaty it can be reassigned and handled. Community members are encouraged to contact a member of the Management Team if their request has not been responded to after 7 days. Community members may not request a specific administrator to handle a certain request, neutrality has to come from both sides. 4. Punishing & Education The Administration Team is expected to handle requests & reports in a fair way, this includes education & punishing. Priority Zero Gaming prefers education over punishment, however does not exclude punishment as an option. The administrator may determine case by case if education / a warning is not sufficient. A community member may only be punished if: An offense occurs in accordance with the community or server rules, and; sufficient evidence of the offense is found and; if they have not been punished for it yet. Specific punishment times or actions are not set on any offense, as the administrator is to handle each issue as it is. Administrators may also not punish other staff members. Staff members can only be punished by the Community Management Team. If an administrator has punished a community member in an excessive way, they may receive an infraction. The community member should report this via a "Staff Report", which is only viewable by the Community Management Team to assure confidentiality. 5. Voiding Roleplay The Administration Team have the right to void roleplay if the situation is deemed to complex or unsolvable. If two players accuse each other of certain actions and neither party can provide consistent evidence, the administrator has the right to void a roleplay scene and issue both players to go on their own way. Voiding roleplay scenes should be limited to a minimum. 6. Action Reports The Administration Team must keep a log of their actions, including warnings, kicks, ejections and bans, including evidence with as much detail as possible. This aids other Administrators and Management in follow-up decisions and ensures integrity. A community member may only request the reason for their ban that matches the rules. They are not permitted to any other information, such as the initial reporter, private notes, evidence, etc. 7. Community & Server Rules The Administration Team are expected to have full knowledge of the rules of Priority Zero Gaming and the Server they are Administrating. They are to set an example for new and experienced players. Fulfilling the rule goes further than learning the rules and understanding them, but includes looking to enhance them, contributing to discussions, and bettering the community. Failing to follow the rules can lead to an immediate termination in extreme cases. 8. Server-wide Commands & Actions The Administration Team must keep the usage of commands and actions which affect the whole server to an absolute minimum. Actions which can create lag or interfere with active roleplay, that can break the immersion are to be only performed in low-no population moments. This document is subject to change without notice.

What is the suggestion: a way to remove tattoos What are the advantages? (List each in new line) being able to change your appearance or alter tattoos on your body What are the disadvantages? (List each in new line) none Do you have any resources (images, links, references) to support our staff in making said suggestion? How would you go about implementing this idea? Have a remove tattoo option in the shop that you can go through and select which tattoo you want to remove. It would probably also be helpful to have a remove all option.

Timeline & Overview of a Typical Criminal Case This overview is meant to provide you with a broad understanding of what to expect in your San Andreas criminal defense case. The timeline for criminal cases differs widely depending on many different factors, but this timeline below (which correlates with the headings on this page) should give you a general idea of what to expect. * This is a general timeline for a criminal case; some cases can be resolved in as little as a few days after arrest, and other cases many not be resolved for years. The Crime A criminal case begins when there is evidence that a crime has been committed (CLICK HERE to learn the difference between felony crimes and misdemeanor crimes). Evidence of a crime is usually in the form of a citizen's statement, or physical evidence. Citizen's statements can take the form of a victim's statement, a 911 call, an eyewitness statement, or someone calling in a tip. Physical Evidence usually consists of the discovery of drugs, weapons, stolen property, recordings, DNA, fake IDs, or anything else that can be linked to the commission of a crime. Pre-Arrest Investigation After a law enforcement agency has some kind of evidence that a crime has been committed they will initiate an investigation. Typically, there are four steps to a pre-arrest investigation. The law enforcement agency will: Determine that a crime was actually committed; Determine who committed the crime; Collect evidence sufficient to make an arrest of the person they believe committed the crime; and Locate the offender and make an arrest. To accomplish the pre-arrest investigation, law enforcement officers may do any or all of the following: Interview victims, witnesses, and suspects. Examine the crime scene and surrounding areas for evidence such as weapons, clothing, video footage, or DNA. Check records such as sign in or sign out sheets, computer files, or work logs. Search homes, cars, storage units, etc. for evidence such as stolen property, documents, or weapons. Surveillance of the suspect. Use undercover agents to gain information. Talk with friends, family, neighbors, or other acquaintances. If a person is arrested at the scene of the time, there is no need for a pre-arrest investigation. CLICK HERE to learn more about what laws and constitutional rights protect defendants from certain police investigations. Arrest Before any arrest can be made, a law enforcement officer must have probable cause. Probable cause exists when the law enforcement agency can point to some evidence that suggests a certain suspect probably committed the crime in question. A law enforcement officer does not usually need a warrant to make an arrest. If a warrant is needed to make an arrest, the law enforcement officer must present evidence to a judge who will then decide whether or not the evidence is sufficient to issue an arrest warrant. If the judge finds that the evidence is not sufficient to meet the "probable cause" standard, then the warrant will not be issued. CLICK HERE to read more about when a law enforcement officer can make an arrest, and whether or not an arrest warrant is needed. Booking After the arrest, a law enforcement officer will take the individual to a police facility where the arresting officer can search the arrested person for evidence related to the crime. For example, if the arrest is drug related, the police officer will search the person looking for drugs. That person will then be booked. Bring booked, usually means that the arrested person is photographed, fingerprinted, and his/her name, the time of arrival, and the offense for which the person was arrested, are all written in a log. A law enforcement officer may attempt to get a statement from the arrested individual at this time. Once booked, the arrested person is usually allowed one telephone call. After the phone call, a more thorough search of the arrested person and the person's belongings will take place. The arrested person will then either be placed in jail, or, for lesser crimes, the person may be released. Law enforcement agencies across the state have established their own policies for what works best for their officers and in their facilities. Therefore, the steps outlined above may differ slightly between agencies. Post-Arrest Investigation In addition to the search of the defendant's person and their belongings upon arrest, the arresting law agency may place the defendant in a lineup, have a witness view the defendant, or take a photo of the defendant to show other potential witnesses. The police may also obtain handwriting samples, DNA, hair, etc. that can be compared to evidence found in other investigative efforts. Now that the defendant is in custody, questioning is much easier. Questioning officers have a duty to inform a defendant in custody of their Miranda rights. CLICK HERE to read more about Miranda rights. The post arrest investigation will continue on throughout the case, perhaps consisting of the state talking with witnesses, obtaining search warrants, gathering documents, etc. Defense Investigation Normally the accused will contact an attorney for the first time after they know they are being investigated for a crime, or after they have been arrested. As soon as the accused contacts an attorney, their attorney will begin the defense investigation. The defense will contact witnesses, subpoena evidence, and gather information useful to the defense in both presenting their version of the facts and defending against the prosecution's accusations. Official Charge & Filing the Complaint An initial criminal charge may be made by the arresting officer, but the prosecutor ultimately decides what a defendant should be charged with. A prosecutor has several options as he proceeds. The prosecutor may move forward with exactly the same charges for which the officer arrested the defendant, the prosecutor may add additional charges, or the prosecutor may waive some charges and move forward on others. A prosecutor may also device to elevate an initial charge -- for example, a 2nd degree felony to a 1st degree felony. The prosecutor then files a complaint, sometimes called a "charging documents" or an "information", with the court (see an example of a complaint here). A complaint is simply a document that details the crime the state has charged a person with. Occasionally prosecutors, after receiving all of the evidence, decide not to go ahead with any charge. In this scenario, no complaint will be filed, and the suspect will be released from law enforcement custody without ever having to go to trial. Guilty Plea & Acceptance (( Disclaimer: Specifically written for LSRP due to limited court resources, and is considered "legal". In particular, this allows an officer to be the prosecutor and issue a sentence without going to court, providing the defendant pleads guilty.)) The defendant may accept the charges presented by the officer or prosecutor at the time by pleading Guilty. If the defendant pleads guilty, they will be charged with the recorded charges, penalties and fines by the arresting officer, and serve the sentence provided by the officer or prosecutor (which can come in the form of jail time, financial penalty, community service, warning, etc). It is up to officer discretion to offer time served while in police custody. This usually depends on compliance from the defendant but is not always the case. If the defendant wishes to plea Not Guilty or No Contest, then the case will continue to court. First Appearance in Court & Misdemeanor Arraignment The defendant's first appearance in court is usually a very brief hearing in which a judge will inform the defendant of the official charge and tell the defendant of their legal rights. If the defendant is accused of a misdemeanor, arraignment will take place during this first apperance. An arraignment is a formal reading of the criminal charges, by the judge, in the presence of the defendant. After the formal reading, the defendant enters a plea (e.g. guilty, not guilty). If the defendant is accused of a felony, the arraignment will take place after the preliminary hearing (see "Felony Arraignment" below). The defendant will have no opportunity at this first appearance to present evidence or share their version of the facts. However, if desired, a defendant can present an affidavit (a sworn statement), usually through their attorney, which states the defendant's side of the story. During this first appearance, the court will also determine if the defendant is eligible for a public defender (a free attorney employed by the state). Eligibility for a public defender depends on the financial situation of the defendant. Bail & Bail Bonds (( Disclaimer: Specifically written for LSRP, and is considered "legal". The prosecution (instead of the court) will set bail at x4 the total amount of all charges without a judge, regardless if guilty or not guilty & the charges. )) After being booked, defendants are sometimes released from custody on their own recognizance. This means that the individual promises to appear in court at a later date. In other instances, defendants are held in custody and the officer or prosecutor sets a bail amount at x4 the amount of all accused charges. The bail amount is what has to be paid/guaranteed in order for the defendant to be released out of custody. There are several types of bonds that can be obtained by a defendant who does not have access to the cash necessary for bail: Property Bond: The accused, or someone acting on their behalf, puts up a piece of land or a house equal to the bail amount set by the prosecution. If the defendant fails to appear for their court hearings, the state can take the land or house to recover the bail amount. Surety Bond: A third party agrees to be responsible for the bail amount for defendant. This is usually done by a bail bondsman. Typical, a bail bondsman will immediately collect a percentage (10% - 15%) of the total bail amount, and will make a guarantee to the court that the defendant will appear on their scheduled court dates. If the defendant does not appear, the bail bondsman must pay the defendant's total bail amount. Since the bail bondsman is taking a risk that the defendant may flee and the bail bondsman will be stuck paying the bail amount. Here is an example of how this works: Prosecution sets bail at $5,000. Bail bondsman collects a $500 non-refundable fee, and requires that some asset (a car, for example) is provided that is worth $5,000. If the defendant does not show up to court, the bail bondsman pays the court $5,000 and then takes permanent possession of the car also worth $5,000. If the defendant appears at all necessary court dates, then the car is returned to it's owner. Cash Bond: Sometimes the court will set bail as a "cash only" bond. This simply means that the court will not accept anything besides cash for release of the defendant. When a defendant has posted bail, the court sometimes imposes restrictions upon the defendant such as a requirement for home detention, drug testing, mandatory check-in calls to the police, relinquishing passports, etc. Preliminary Hearing The purpose of a preliminary hearing is to force the state to present evidence showing that it has probable cause to believe the defendant committed the crime they are being charged with. This means that the prosecutor has to show the judge that it is more likely than not that the defendant committed the crime. This is a very low standard and fairly easy for any prosecutor to meet, especially considering the “beyond a reasonable doubt” standard that must be met at trial. Think of it this way, to meet the “probable cause” standard a prosecutor must show that there is a 51% chance the defendant committed the crime. To meet the “beyond a reasonable doubt” standard a prosecutor must show there is about a 95% chance the defendant committed the crime. If the state succeeds in showing it has probable cause that the defendant committed the crime, the case will go forward. If the state does not succeed, the case will be dismissed and the defendant must be released. If bail was paid, this must be refunded in full. Three Reasons to have the Preliminary Hearing: A preliminary hearing sometimes provides the defendant and defense attorney with a sense of the prosecution's idea, legal theories, and strategies that he will use later on in trial. Knowing this information can help you prepare. The defendant and defense attorney will hear the witness testimony at the preliminary hearing and have the opportunity to cross examine those witnesses. This can be an opportunity for the defense to gather useful information and get an idea of what the witnesses might say at trial and how comfortable the witness is on the stand. Chances are, the same witnesses that testify at the preliminary hearing will also testify at trial. Knowing how they reacted to questioning the first time around can be helpful to examine them on the witness stand the second time around. With the information learned during preliminary hearing, an attorney may device to take action and file certain motions with the court. For example, if the preliminary hearing a witness testifies as to the defendant's prior criminal record, the defense attorney can anticipate that the prosecution intends to use the defendant's prior criminal record as evidence at trial, and can therefore petition the court to preclude that criminal record from coming in as evidence. Three Reasons to NOT have the Preliminary Hearing: Waiving a preliminary hearing can create "good will" with the prosecutor. Prosecutors typically don't like to have preliminary hearings because they require a fair amount of work to prepare for. When a defendant waives a preliminary hearing, he is lightening the prosecutor's work load and showing a sign of good faith. Prosecutors often appreciate this and may be more likely down the road to cut you a slightly better deal because you cut them a deal. Waiving a preliminary hearing can be a bargaining chip for the defendant. E.g. "I will agree to waive the preliminary hearing if the prosecutor reduces my charges from a second degree felony to a third degree felony". Sometimes preliminary hearings are a waste of time for everyone. Sometimes the defendant and their attorney already know what evidence the prosecution is going to put on to establish probable cause and the prosecutor is not budging on any plea deals. In this case, it may be more productive for the defense attorney to spend their time on something more pressing and crucial to your defense. Grand Jury San Andreas does not typically have grand jury proceedings. However, when a grand jury is called, it takes the place of a preliminary hearing. A grand jury is a private hearing (rather than the public, preliminary hearing) where the prosecutor presents evidence to a jury and the jury devices whether to file an indictment or to dismiss the case. An indictment is a formal accusation that the defendant has committed a crime. The defense attorney is not allowed to be present during a grand jury proceeding. Felony Arraignment and Entering a Plea After the preliminary hearing, a judge will typically set a date for the defendant to come back for arraignment. This is where the defendant is brought before the court, informed of the charges against him, and asked to enter a plea. In San Andreas, there are six kinds of possible pleas: Not Guilty; Guilty; No Contest; Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity Guilty with a mental illness at the time of the offense; and An alternative plea of not guilty or not guilty by reason of insanity. At this stage, a defendant typically pleads not guilty because either: The defendant's intention is to go to trial, or The defendant is willing to change his "not guilty" plea to a "guilty" plea after the prosecutor offers a deal. It's a painless process to change a "not guilty" plea to a guilty plea, but there are several complications in changing a "guilty" plea to a "not guilty" plea. After a defendant has entered their plea, the judge will usually set a trial date for a few weeks down the road. Hearings, Appearances in Court, and Pre-Trial Motions After the defendant's preliminary hearing and indictment, there will be several times the defendant comes back to court before going to trial. These appearances in court may be for the purpose of updating the judge concerning the process of the case, alerting the judge to certain issues, negotiating with the prosecutor, or the hearing a "motion". A "motion" is a request, by the prosecutor or the defendant, for the court to take certain action on an issue. Below are a few examples of motions that can be filed with the court: Motion to Pressures: A motion to suppress seeks an order from the court to withhold certain evidence from being used at trial, and is usually filed when the defendant feels the police violated his constitutional rights in order to obtain evidence. For example, a defendant may petition the court to withhold evidence of his confession, a 911 call, the presence of drugs at the crime scene, or items seized in a search. Motion in Limine: While the line between a motion to suppress and a motion in limine is quite blurry, generally, a motion in limine is a motion to exclude certain evidence from being brought into trial because the evidence violates the "San Andreas Rules of Evidence". This is different than a motion to suppress because a motion to suppress deals with evidence that may not violate the San Andreas Rules of Evidence, but may violate the defendant’s constitutional rights. A motion in limine may seek to exclude things such as evidence of the defendant’s prior criminal record, certain evidence that is irrelevant to the crime, medical records, defendant’s financial records, a witness statement, or evidence that may cause the jury to have unfair prejudice towards the defendant. Motion to Compel Discovery: The term "discovery" refers to the act uncovering of evidence. Both the defendant and the prosecutor are entitled to see certain evidence that is being held by the other. A motion to compel discovery occurs when one of the parties is not allowing the other to see certain evidence they are entitled to see. For example, the defendant may request a copy of a video recording taken from a police dash cam during the defendant's arrest. If the prosecutor does not provide that video to the defendant, a defendant may file a motion to compel the discovery. If the judge grants the motion, the prosecutor must provide the defendant with the video. Any other Motions: A motion can be filed for just about any purpose that the defense or prosecutor can think up and put down on paper. For example, the defense may file a motion to have an independent agency test any DNA in evidence, have the jury visit the scene of a crime, motion to restrict the publicity of a case, motion to withdraw a guilty plea, motion to reduce bond, motion to weigh contraband, etc. After the defense decides to file a motion, they will schedule a hearing and subpoena witnesses to come to that hearing. At the hearing, both the prosecution and the defense will put on evidence in an attempt to persuade the judge to rule on the motion in their favor. A judge will typically make a decision to grant or deny the motion at the conclusion of the hearing, but occasionally a judge may not rule on the motion for a few days. Trials (( Disclaimer: Specifically written for LSRP, and is considered "legal". It is not always possible to have a full jury, and jury trials are unlikely to happen. The minimum has been set at 5 for criminal cases. If numbers can be brought together, then it is a jury trial will be an option. A judge also must be a unique player which is not involved in the case. )) If there is no plea agreement, then a trial will ensue. Criminal cases are usually presented to a judge. In a San Andreas criminal case, the judge will device if the defendant is guilty or not guilty. There are two trials that can occur: Bench Trial - in a bench trial, the defense and procecution put on evidence before a judge, not a jury. At the conclusion of the trial, the judge will make a finding of guilty or not guilty. Jury Trial - trial by a minimum Jury of five, see more information below. Jury Selection (Jury Trial Only) The Sixth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution grants a criminal defendant the right to be tried by a jury of their peers. Sometimes a jury consists of twelve jurors, sometimes nine, but in a San Andreas felony case a jury can never have fewer than five jurors. Each member of the jury is selected from a people living within the jurisdiction of the court that tries the case. Usually, several dozen people are called to the courthouse for this one case -- this is called a "jury Pool". Not all of the people in this jury pool will actually be on the jury. Instead, the defense and the prosecution will pick which jurors serve on the jury. Both the defense and the prosecution usually have some kind of idea as to which type of person will be the most beneficial for their case. The judge then permits the defense and the prosecution to ask questions to the jurors. Based on a juror's answers to these questions, the defense or the prosecution may choose to "strike" that juror. The defense and prosecution can usually "strike", or get rid of, four or five jurors each. For example, if the prosecution asks the jurors, "do any of you have a problem believing police officers", and one of the jurors says "yes", it is likely the prosecution will "strike" that juror from the pool and they will be sent home. The prosecutor may do this because he intends to have a police officer testify during the trial and wants jurors who are going to believe the police officer's testimony. Opening Statements The attorney on each side will present an overview of their version of the case to the judge/jury, and forecast what they believe the evidence will show. State/Prosecution's Case in Chief After opening statements, the prosecutor/state will present all of its evidence in an attempt to convince the judge/jury that the defendant is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. It's important to note that every crime has certain "elements" that the prosecutor must prove in order for the defendant to be found guilty. A prosecutor will attempt to show the defendant's guilt through the use of witness testimony, victim testimony, documents, video recordings, audio recordings, records; or in short, all the "evidence". While the plaintiff is presenting their case in chief, the defense will have the opportunity to cross examine witnesses (ask questions to the state's witnesses in court), object (e.g. object to the plaintiff showing a certain document to the jury), and make motions. Defense's Case in Chief After the state has presented its case in chief, the defense will now put on all of it's evidence in order to convince the judge/jury that the defendant is not guilty. There are several common senses used in a San Andreas criminal defense case, such as: self defense, alibi, insanity, entrapment, duress, and defense of habitation. The same rights afforded to the defense during the state's case in chief are now afforded to the state during the defense's case in chief (e.g. to cross examine witnesses and object). Closing Arguments These arguments are calculated to point out to the judge/jury in very plain terms why the specific evidence presented should lead the judge/jury to conclude one way or the other. Jury Instructions (Jury Trial Only) After closing arguments the judge will instruct the jury as to the law that should be applied. This law, along with other jury instructions, is put into a packet and given to the jury for reference. The jury's charge is to think about all of the evidence presented to them, apply that evidence to the law, and decide if the defendant is guilty or not guilty. Jury Deliberations & Verdict (Jury Trial Only) After the jury has been instructed, they are removed from the courtroom to discuss the case and come to a conclusion as to whether or not the defendant is guilty or not guilty. In a San Andreas criminal case, a jury's decision must be majority. Once the jury has reached a verdict, they will be brought into the court room and the judge will the majority verdict. Judge's Findings (Bench Trial Only) After closing arguments, the judge will consider all of the evidence presented to them, and apply that evidence to the law, and decide if the defendant is guilty or not guilty. Guilty Verdict If the defendant is found guilty, and the defendant is out on bail or was never taken into custody at that time. The defendant will return to court at a later day for sentencing. Otherwise, the sentences will be issued at the same time. Not Guilty Verdict If the defendant is found not guilty, and the defendant was previously in custody, the defendant may likely need to go back to a holding facility before release. Otherwise, they will not need to be processed and can be released. Sentence Hearing After a defendant has been found guilty, their sentence is decided by the judge. Typically the officer and/or prosecutor will prepare a per-sentence recommendations based on several factors, including the defendant's prior convictions, probation and parole history, personal history, friends, education, gang affiliation, and employment history. They will generally make a recommendation as to what they believe the sentence should be, but the judge may deviate from this suggestion. The judge has four basic types of sentences available: Financial sanctions: The judge can impose fines and restitution orders on the offender. Release: The judge may release the offender into the community with or without restrictions. Restrictions the judge may impose on the offender might be probation or house arrest. Incarceration: The judge may sentence the offender to time in jail or prison. Community Service: The judge may release the offender into the community, requiring a set amount of (real) hours of community of community service. Both the defense and the prosecution will have the opportunity to persuade the judge towards one outcome or another. In some cases ,witnesses may be called. For example, the prosecution often has a victim speak to the judge about the harm the defendant has caused them and the victim frequently will ask the judge to impose a more severe sentence. Or, the defense has one of the defendant's children, or a sick grandmother the defendant takes care of, speak to the court concerning the hardship it would cause on them, if the defendant was to be incarcerated. Appeals (( Disclaimer: Specifically written for LSRP due to limited court resources, and is considered "legal". You may only submit an appeal once, and go through an criminal appeal once. Constant appeals or abuse of this will result in OOC administrative action or severe IC repercussions.)) In San Andreas, the convicted defendant is allowed to appeal their conviction and/or the sentence one time. In most cases, the convicted must file a file notice of appeal within 30 (real) days from the time of judgement If the defendant is found not guilty by a jury, the prosecution may not appeal because this violates the "double jeopardy" rule. Grounds for appeal may be, among other things, ineffective assistance of legal council, improper admission of evidence, false arrest, jury misconduct, prosecutor misconduct, or improper exclusion of evidence. The reversal rate in felony cases in the United States is 5% - 10%. This statistic also includes those cases which were only partially reversed. Credit to Red Law, Utah for the information.

What is the suggestion: The suggestion is the 2019 Mustang GT - Link: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/2019-ford-mustang-gt-bullitt-rtr-5-rims What are the advantages? (List each in new line) - gives players a broader option of selection for vehicles, can improve server as people enjoy to use real life cars to help immersion. What are the disadvantages? (List each in new line) - None listed. Do you have any resources (images, links, references) to support our staff in making said suggestion? Link included above for vehicle, it includes everything in it. How would you go about implementing this idea? Fairly self explanatory, i'd personally love to see it as my character has owned these for the majority of the life of his character and i'd love to have it for his personal car.

So I can say that I have had the chance to beta test some of the cars coming to the server and I am happy with the performance. In the state they were in when tested some of them were fast, some would accelerate quickly, some handled really well etc..... I was impressed by there performance I feel that they will add a lot to the server. With anything new coming in the game I'm sure there will be some things that need to be tweaked. With that being said I would like to throw my thoughts in about the topic. I like that the added cars feel special and are faster than the basic GTA cars. Speed is fun to a extent a car at 170+ is nice but I can tell you with the A.I. mechanics you will be getting to stare at a black screen often. I also can say I would much prefer the developers focusing their attention on adding/improving in game mechanics that increase player immersion in the city. I think cars added should be unique a set apart from the base GTA cars, but I feel that trying to replicate real life performance of every vehicle is something that is to time consuming and could take away from key elements for better city development.

One of the biggest things that i keep seeing said is that it would be unfun for people, I personally disagree completely with that statement maybe i am a minority here but i know of at least 2 people who find it extremely fun to drive at high rates of speed. I cannot entirely speak for the other person, but i know that i myself as well as miller enjoy fast vehicles and driving at high rates of speed. For me its the thrill the adrenaline dump i love it. I personally have never technically ran from the police IRL, but i do know people who have on motorcycles and they too say its the adrenaline dump, i may think they are kinda retarded for it but its out there and people do find it fun in game and IRL. That being said also if you look at any server you will see that people often go for the fastest and nicest cars. Its obvious to me that people find fast vehicles extremely fun. However i also understand the balancing and Handling part. I know that it will take ages to balance every vehicle and they will need constant tweaking and work. I know that when dealing with handling there was to be a line between realistic and a video game (this is why i changed the name in the post to Modified vehicle speeds and handling) because if the driving is too realistic and people will find it unfun. Why wouldn't they if you limit the ability to even control the car at high speeds to were the second you touch anything your doing 20 donuts and dying, but i know that it must be somewhat realistic you cant just allow someone in a car to be taking turns at 300 mph because well that is death. This would be a massive balancing game of finding what the community feels right and balancing vehicles to keep things fair for the police and fun for the civilians. Also i know this would take ages as you guys said and i personally am well aware of that, and there will always be those bugs of cars spawning in front of you and things for those with worse off computers. However at that point it kinda becomes a welcome to arma type deal for all those familiar with it. though there are ways to help fix that probably whether it be lowering AI population or whatever it will always be an issue and people will learn and adapt to ways around it. Now for the police as you said people have to understand with civilian cars being faster police cars will become faster it is only fair, however this is where people get angry and issues arise, and balancing becomes a huge part. Police cars should be able to do what most standard civilian cars do my 2002 Chevy cavalier aint coming no where close to outrunning a cop. hell even a 2018 trax will not outrun a cop. this comes down to not really top speed per say but just the overall handling and controllable of a car when it comes to outrunning cops. Yes the my motorcycle is way faster then a cop car, yes millers mustang is way faster then cop cars. however the police have resources and 100 things to help give them an edge and overpower people who chose to run and things like that whether it be spike strips, helicopters, road blocks, hell their training. It is ok for cops to not have the fastest and best cars in the city because that's real they don't in real life, but what they do have are tactics, training, and resources. Rather then out muscle your opponent as a cop you outsmart them. Now for my last point you said people would choose to go for the fastest car rather then the car that suits their character. Though i do agree with this statement in a way if there is only 1 or 2 cars that are just the best of the best and i mean noticeably #balancing then you are right. If the 2019 mustang goes 350 mph and handles like a absolute champ why wouldn't people want it. It's important to give people options to give them a diverse group of vehicles that are good not just one, each one having there own faults maybe breaking, maybe handling in bad weather, maybe flip easy, maybe it slides a lot, those are things that would have to be balanced and looked into. No matter what you do people will always go for the nice or fastest car, to say it doesn't suit there character really isn't up to you its up to the person playing the character. I understand that people will just straight up buy the fastest car to run from the cops to heist and stuff, but maybe there character is someone who does those things, its an investment for them. Police if they don't they definitely should have the power to crush vehicles whether its done through admin abilities or what,, there should be a way for cops to complete take peoples vehicles if they are repeat offenders and things. however back to the cars that is all balancing if a car is to over powered it can and should be altered this is all a trial and error ordeal, i'm sure you all are aware of that. There is a point when balancing has to come before what the community wants, because as you guys grow your going to have those people who only do crimes and things and they will aim for these type of cars and be dumb with them. However with diversity in vehicles and a lot of balancing work i know it can be done i know it will take time and its a huge process, but it can be done. To me personally i would put this on a back burner until things more important are complete, hell we dont even have custom cars yet. This was simply something that i felt the post before didn't explain to well of what they wanted, and i wanted to take a different approach. I really want to hear what others think of this as well as how we can make it better and how we can fix any other problems, or point out any problems we may run into doing this. I know that in the end this has to be fair and fun for everyone and the work that this will take will be a lot and its not something needed right at this moment, but i wanted to put something a little more detailed out there for people to converse over and discuss. I apologize for the 5000 word message.

I am on the fence when it comes to changing handling lines. While I know most vehicle speeds at this current moment are not the most realistic because, as you pointed out, vehicles top out ~140-150 even with most super cars. I believe that making ever thing faster is going to cause extensive loss of fun due to the inability of most to be able to control their vehicles. From a development side of this, this would take probably if not close to 4-5 months to get this fine tuned and perfect as we would have to review each vehicle in the game, find its IRL counterpart and try and tweak it to fit as close as we can. I know there are already resources out there that do this to an extent with the default GTA vehicles but we would have to then do it for the addon vehicles and police fleet. At the end of the day I will go with what the community wants, but I just do not want to spend the time and work and then roll back because they arent liking what they wanted.

Howdy all, The development team would like your input on ways to earn money, namely as a "civilian", but illegal methods are okay. Things like jobs provide ways of earning money, like mailman, taxi driver, etc. We'd like to hear ideas for jobs, but also ways for non-job people to earn money. For simplicity sake, we'll break these out into: Active Jobs - Jobs which require an official title and may have organizational structure, these jobs require the job from the job center. Passive Methods - Methods which do not require an official job title and can be started without the job center or job title. E.g. Going through trash cans, finding cans and then taking them to be recycled. Current Active Jobs Postman Taxi / Uber Driver Mechanic Car Dealer Real Estate Agent Banker Bus Driver Lumberjack Fisherman Truck Driver Reporter Tailer Miner Butcher Pool Cleaner Winegrower Stripclub Nightclub Unemployed (Welfare Payments) Current Methods Drug Manufacturer/Dealer (Weed) - harvest, manufactor & sell weed to players or a dealer Recycling Bottles - take bottles from trashcans and trade them for cash We'd love your ideas no matter how big or small, ideally we'd like to have a lot of options which don't require official paths but still offer a way to generate money without interacting directly with another player. Look forward to the ideas! ~ Psihusky

This already exists in the weapons shops, there are legal and illegal shops if you have more suggestions for locations this may be a possibility. The licences can be purchased at a gun dealer though doesn't check priors, I'm not sure on the status of taking it away but could be a future development.

What is the suggestion: adjust the fuel pump to rotate 90 degrees or move slightly to left to make more easier for fire trucks (old fuel station had this which was easier to pull up to pumps) What are the advantages? (List each in new line) gives a more clearance for fire trucks to pull in and leave What are the disadvantages? (List each in new line) None Do you have any resources (images, links, references) to support our staff in making said suggestion? here showing fire truck is bit awkward because cars on both sides making parking to pumps are bit hard there isnt enough clearance for fire truck to carefully pulling in to pump if we had two trucks on refuelling the problem is we have to back one truck backwards for left side pump to access to fuel hole for pump on left side How would you go about implementing this idea? i would suggest the pumps too be moved left and/or rotated 90 to make entry and exit easier for large vehicles in and out like old fuel station had
